WATERVILLE — John Jennings reached 30 goals this season, scoring five as the Colby College men’s lacrosse team beat the University of Maine 19-5 on Wednesday.

Jennings had four of his five goals in the first half and leads the Mules (5-5) in scoring with 30 goals and three assists.

Greg McKillop added a goal and four assists for Colby, while Alex Boches, Scott Margolis and John Moriarty each had two goals.

Nate Prince of Gardiner had two goals for USM (3-7).

Maine Maritime 17, Thomas 1: The Mariners scored five goals in the first period and seven more in the second on their way to a win over the Terriers in Castine.

Tom Houle, Christopher Keiley and Andrew DeSalvo each had three goals, while Brian Corain had two goals and three assists for the Mariners.

Bradley Stiles had the lone goal for Thomas.
