AUGUSTA — The Joy of “Womanhood” Celebration will be held May 7 at the Augusta Elk’s Lodge. Vendors that specialize in services and products for women are invited to attend. In exchange for a display area, vendors will be asked to donate an item with a $25 value for the silent auction, which will benefit the Maine Breast Coalition.
The evening will kick off with a social hour from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by a light buffet, guest speaker, games, silent auction and music for dancing from 7:30 to 10 p.m. There will be a cash bar.
The event is open to members and guests, however, If you are not a member, call for more details. Tickets cost $10 each and tables of ten will be available upon request.
