I was not surprised to read about Ken Petersen seeing a large cat (cougar) in Dresden.
I saw one in Sidney 30 feet away from me while picking wild berries with my wife and my mother. It was just sitting there watching me. When it saw my wife and mother getting closer, it disappeared in two long leaps. It was an awesome sight.
The year 1961. Nobody believed me, either.
