In this day and age of identity theft, credit card theft, etc. there are still some very honest caring people out there.
As I was driving away from the ATM machine recently, a person in a pickup behind me kept blowing their horn. I thought they were just anxious for me to pull out into traffic and get going, so I just ignored them. After I pulled out into the street, they still kept blowing the horn, by then I thought maybe there was something wrong with my car, so I pulled over and stopped.
As I looked around I saw this young woman running toward me, waving my debit card in the air. She said, “I hope you don’t think we were being rude, but you left this in the machine.”
I was overwhelmed to think anyone would be so kind. I don’t know the young couple and I probably never will, but I will always remember them and be very thankful to them.
