FARMINGTON — Police are investigating a burglary Friday morning on Philbrick Street, where more than $1,500 worth of electrical tools was stolen from a work site.

The tools were taken from the unsecured construction site where a crew had been renovating a two-family home, according to Bonnie Pomeroy, a spokeswoman for the Farmington Police Department.

She said it’s unclear when the burglary happened; it was reported Friday at 11:55 a.m. Pomeroy declined to disclose the address or name of the construction company working on the home, saying it may result in more burglaries at the site.

She asked people to call the police department at 778-6312 with any information about the burglary.
