FARMINGTON — Henderson Memorial Baptist Church announces another summer series of Gospel concerts on the front lawn of the church, at the corner of Main and Academy streets.

Greater Purpose will perform on Sunday at 6 p.m., and Sammie Angel will perform July 31 at 6 p.m. The concerts will happen rain or shine, though will move inside if bad weather. A freewill offering will be taken; bring lawn chairs. For more information call 778 2163.

Hyssongs to perform in Smithfield Sunday

SMITHFIELD — The Hyssongs will present a concert of gospel music at 10 a.m. Sunday at Smithfield Baptist Church, at Head of North Pond.

Vacation Bible school in Freedom planned

FREEDOM — Freedom Congregational Church will host Child Evangelism Fellowship Vacation Bible School from 9:45 a.m. to noon July 25-29. All children are welcome.

Elvis gospel music planned for Fairfield

FAIRFIELD — An Elvis gospel and inspirational musical tribute concert, performed by local Elvis tribute artist Don Boudreau, will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at Fairfield First Baptist Church, 12 Newhall St.

Admission is free; however, an offering will be taken. Proceeds will benefit the Mid Maine Homeless Shelter Rebuilding Lives Campaign.
