AUGUSTA — Maine’s Bureau of Parks and Lands says a week-long archaeological dig at Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site in New Harbor has been postponed one week, to July 25-29.
Park Historian Tom Desjardin says the dig was postponed a week due to the overwhelming response to the call for volunteers.
Volunteers will dig for historic artifacts associated with a colonial fishing village.
