We finally have a true people’s governor. It has always been easy to promise change for the working people, but the doing has always been the problem.

The entrenched liberals have given away the farm for years (it ensured another vote for them later). Why not give the rich people’s money away, so what if the people receiving it don’t deserve it? They told us they needed it, and we are a free and open society.

Not with my hard-earned money.

We all know friends, neighbors or relatives who get SSI checks, food assistance, heating assistance and on and on who shouldn’t be getting a penny.

What is wrong with a little sweat and tears and honesty? We have to work to support our family.

We all have seen it at the grocery’s check-out, where the kid’s cereal is taken out of the grocery bag and the beer and cigarettes are put in because they have priority.

As we get home from work, we see our neighbor (who is on welfare) and his drinking buddies on their front lawn, and they hold up their bottle of beer to us as we drive by. Must be toasting us to our hard work.

Life is made a lot easier for them, if we keep working — they need our help.

Keep up the good work, governor, we workers really do need your help. Don’t let the do-gooders fool you.
