MOUNT VERNON — The children of Susan Margaret Widdoes and Steven Wayne Cole are pleased to announce the marriage of their parents on June 26, 2011, at the Mount Vernon Community Center in Mount Vernon. The ceremony was performed by Gilman Coryell and they were attended by all of their children. A reception followed at the Community Center with music provided by Renee Goodwin and Bob Simons of Simons and Goodwin.

Mrs. Cole is the daughter of the late Edward and Marian Cragin of Waterville. She is a graduate of Waterville High School, Waterville and Bates College, Lewiston. She is employed by Bank of America in Belfast. Her sons are Duncan Widdoes and wife, Emily of Freedom, Colin Widdoes of Portland, Ore., Cameron Widdoes of Honolulu, Hawaii and Devin Widdoes, US Army, Tacoma, Wash.

Mr. Cole is the son of James and Henrietta Cole of O’Fallon, Mo. He is a graduate of Fort Zumwalt High School, O’Fallon, Mo. and Southern Maine Community College, Portland, Maine. He is employed by Spurwink Services, Portland. His daughters are Stephanie Cole of Mount Vernon and Beronica Cole of Brunswick.

Mr. and Mrs. Cole will be taking a honeymoon cruise to Alaska in July and reside in Mount Vernon.
