HARRISON — Three Central Maine pitchers combined for a one-hitter Saturday at the Babe Ruth state tournament for 13-year-olds to lead the team to a 16-2 win against Coastal South in a game shortened by the 10-run rule. Nick Mayo fanned four in picking  up the win with relief from Jacob Cunningham and Jacob Trask.

Cunningham singled and doubled while teammate Ben Frazee singled twice and drove in two runs and Jonathan Wilke singled twice.

Dan Pooler added a single and three RBIs for the winners, who play Coastal South again at 3 p.m. today in the title game.

15-year-old Babe Ruth

Apple Valley 8, Westbrook 1: Kyle Fletcher pitched a complete-game five-hitter to lead Apple Valley to the championship game of the 15-year-old Babe Ruth tournament in Westbrook.

Brady Dion had three hits for Apple Valley while Tucker Whittman, Carson Dalheim and Fletcher were also repeat hitters. Austin Blake had an RBI for Westbrook.

Apple Valley will play Franklin County in the championship game at 1 p.m. today.

Franklin County 7, Mid-Coast 3: In the second game of the day, Andrew Pratt had three hits and three RBIs as Franklin eliminated Mid-Coast. Eddie Stewart and Caleb McFarland were repeat hitters for Mid-Coast.

Franklin County 4, Westbrook 3: In the final game, Westbrook played another elimination game and ousted the hosts. Andrew Pratt had an RBI single in the seventh inning for Franklin. Derek Bouchard had a two-run home run for Westbrook.
