HARRISON — Ben Frazee earned the victory, striking out seven as Central Maine won the 13-year-old Babe Ruth Baseball state championship and a berth in the New England regional with a 13-2 win over Coastal South in a game shortened to five innings by the 10-run rule Sunday

Central Maine went 3-0 in the tournament, beating Auburn Suburban 12-0 on Friday and Coastal South 16-2 on Saturday.

Trevor Getting had two singles, a double and three stolen bases  for Central Maine. Frazee added a triple. Nine different players drove in a run for Central Maine.

John Parker singled and doubled for Coastal South, which rebounded for its first loss of the tournament with a 6-2 win over Auburn Suburban to reach Sunday’s title game.

Zac Meggison added a double and an RBI for Coastal South.
The New England Regional will be played in Norwalk, Conn.
