ANSON — Kevin W. Berry of Madison was recently awarded Boy Scout’s highest rank of Eagle Scout. He received his Eagle Scout patch, medal, kerchief and plaque at a Court of Honor ceremony in Anson.

Berry, 16, is a five-year member of Troop 481, Anson, Madison and Starks. He serves as his troop’s senior patrol leader and is very active in his church and community.

Berry is the son of Marty and Beth Berry. He plans to pursue a career in law enforcement.
