NEWPORT — Members of the Maine Army National Guard on Friday carry the casket of Pfc. Tyler M. Springmann, 19, of Hartland, who was killed in Afghanistan July 17.
Springmann’s funeral was in the gymnasium at Nokomis Regional High School — the same place where he graduated last year.
