PORTLAND — Tyler Moody of West Gardiner, a student at the University of New England, has been named to both the fall and spring semester dean’s lists.

Moody, a pharmacy major and member of the class of 2014, played for the university’s golf team, which won the school’s first state championship.

He is a 2010 graduate of Cony High School. Moody is the son of Jennifer Riggs of Augusta and Richard Moody of West Gardiner.

GRANVILLE, Ohio — Peter Mosley Bates of Gardiner, Maine, recently received a bachelor’s degree with a major in economics and a minor in psychology from Denison University.

Bates studied abroad with the University of Canterbury Program for a semester in New Zealand.

PORTLAND — Ashley Preshong, daughter of Richard Preshong of Farmingdale and Maureen Wall of Gardiner, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2011 spring semester at the University of New England.

A 2009 graduate of Gardiner Area High School, Preshong is a major in dental hygiene. She also is actively involved at the university in the Student American Dental Hygiene Association.

POTSDAM, N.Y. — Edmund K. Burnett of Winthrop, Maine, a junior at Clarkson University, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.

Burnett is majoring in chemical engineering.

NEWTON, Mass. — Maryah Duplissie of Manchester, Maine, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Lasell College. A member of the class of 2013, Duplissie is majoring in fashion and retail merchandising.

BOSTON — Max Grover of Monmouth, Maine, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Wentworth Institute of Technology.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — William John of Monmouth, Maine, recently received a bachelor’s degree in electronic game and interactive development from Champlain College.

PORTLAND — Eliza Mullen, daughter of Jeff and Robbin Mullen of Wayne, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

A 2010 graduate of Maranacook High School, Mullen is a pre-pharmacy major. She also is actively involved in the Pre-Pharmacy Club.

PORTLAND — Jeffrey Duplisea, son of Debra and Fred Duplisea of Wayne, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

A 2009 graduate of Maranacook Community School, Duplisea is a sports management major. He is a varsity basketball player. Duplisea was also nominated by his adviser for a sophomore academic excellence award and made the all academic team.

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott College has announced its spring semester dean’s list.

Local students are Brittany Marie Devereaux, daughter of David and Elaine Devereaux of Oakland, Maine, a senior majoring in hospitality management; and Katherine S. Landry, daughter of Stephen and Emily Landry of Augusta, Maine, a senior majoring in liberal studies teacher licensure.

WATERVILLE — Colby College has announced its spring semester dean’s list.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Corbin Percy of Dresden, Maine, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Champlain College. Percy is majoring in game programming.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Megan Percy of Dresden has been named to the spring semester president’s list at Champlain College.

Percy is majoring in computer and digital forensics.

AUGUSTA — Angela Marie Hamlin, 25, daughter of Scott and Nicole Hamlin of Augusta, recently graduated from the Maine School of Law.

Hamlin was awarded the Maine State Bar Association Pro Bono Student Award, given to a student whose law-related service to the community, without compensation or education credit, exemplifies the legal profession’s tradition of pro bono service. Hamlin was selected by the dean and faculty after consultation with the president of the Maine State Bar Association.

Hamlin, a 2004 graduate of Cony High School, is a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine, where she received a bachelor’s degree in history with an additional major in political science, cum laude.

BOSTON –Edward P. Connors of Litchfield, Maine, recently received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, magna cum laude, from Boston University.

ITHACA, N.Y. — Gregory Schulz, the son of David Schulz and Kathleen Schulz of Kents Hill, Maine, graduated from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications.

A 2009 graduate of Gardiner High School, Hickey is a dental hygiene major.

She is also actively involved in UNE Field Hockey, achieving an Eastern College Athletic Conference championship and The Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship, UNE and the Commonwealth Coast Conference all-academic team, and the Student American Dental Hygiene Association.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Heather M. Fish of Windsor, Maine, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of Vermont.

Fish is a junior anthropology major in the College of Arts & Sciences.

WINTHROP — Lynn Wadleigh Mace of Winthrop recently received an associate’s degree in medical assisting from Kaplan University in Lewiston. She graduated summa cum laude.

Mace has three grown children and six grandchildren.

ATLANTA — Jeffrey Goggin of Manchester, Maine, has been named to the spring semester dean’s list at Emory University in Atlanta. Goggin is the son of Scott Jeffrey Goggin and Dianne Fraser Goggin.
