NEWPORT — Regional School Unit 19 has announced its bus routes for the upcoming school year. The first day of school for kindergarteners through grade 9 is Aug. 30; all other students start school on Sept. 1.
The district announced that all times are estimates, students should be ready five minutes before the bus arrives, and times listed are for pick up and drop off.
Special needs buses are 44, 45, 89 and 115. Families will be contacted with bus schedule details, according to the announcement.
The district serves Newport, Palmyra, Hartland, St. Albans, Corinna, Etna, Dixmont and Plymouth.
