When is the exploitation of women going to stop?
The other day I was driving down Main Street in Waterville, and I happened to notice that the Silver Street Tavern is opened again, which is a good thing for our city.
But I would like to know why a sign of a bare-breasted woman is being used to promote the tavern. What kind of message is it intended to promote? Topless waitress? Strip joint? Pole dancing or what?
We are not living in the dark ages, are we? When is this kind of behavior going to stop?
I, for one, will not eat there. Women need to take a stand against these types of things.
