EAST WILTON — Heaven’s Blend is scheduled to perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at the East Wilton Union Church, 1306 Main St., beginning the Concerts on the Lawn series.

The concerts are held at 6 p.m. on Sundays in August.

Chairs will be provided. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held inside. Light refreshments and a time of fellowship will follow each concert. The concerts are free, but there will be an opportunity for a donation.

Starks Bible group to meet Wednesday

STARKS — A series of nine study sessions focusing on the Beatitude teachings of Jesus in the gospels of Matthew and Luke, with the intention of deeply connecting faith with daily life, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United in Christ Presbyterian Church, Locke Hill Road.

The Horizons Bible study “Confessing the Beatitudes” by Margaret Aymer is the group study workbook.

Personal Bible study guides will be available at no charge at the meeting.

Living Waters to host group from Michigan

FARMINGTON — Living Waters will host a Family Crusade for Kids, for children of all ages, with Eddies Friends Ministries, a unique team from Michigan.

The team will be at Living Waters at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 through Aug. 17. There will be music and competitions with prizes, stories, puppets and clowns.
