JAY — A 27-year-old Maine woman has been charged with arson for allegedly setting fire to her mobile home a day after it was heavily damaged by another fire.
State fire investigators arrested Amanda Morey on Friday.
Firefighters first put out a fire in the living room of Morey’s home in Jay on Thursday afternoon.
The Sun Journal of Lewiston reported that firefighters were called back to the mobile home shortly after
9 a.m. Friday and found the bedroom on fire and flames spreading though the living room and out the front door.
Morey was being held in the Franklin County Jail on $5,000 bail.
