WALDOBORO — A portion of Route 32will be closed Wednesday in order for Maine Department of Transportation maintenance crews to replace a failing culvert.
Crews will replace a culvert approximately three miles south of U.S. Route 1, just south of the Ledges Circle and Dutch Neck Road intersection. Traffic will be directed onto Ledges Circle in order to bypass the area.
Crews plan to close the road to through traffic at 6 a.m. Wednesday, and if construction proceeds as planned, reopen the road by 7 p.m. that evening.
