“I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!”

Once again, those whom we have elected (or failed to un-elect) and sent to local, state, or federal government to do the people’s business, have ignored doing what is good for the country. They are interested only in doing what is good for their party. And, oh yes, what is good for their “sponsors'” interests.

They are sullen, sour and snippy, petty and petulant, if questioned by those who elected them. They seem to forget that they are the employees, and the we, the people, are their employers.

What does a business owner do when his or her employees refuse to do the job they were hired to do? They fire them, and hire people who will do the job.

Republicans and Democrats: “A plague on both your houses for you are making worm-meat of our country!” (My thanks to William Shakespeare for the latter, my paraphrased version.)
