ACT Tour

LOUDON, N.H. — Brian Hoar claimed the overall ACT All-Star Challenge title after winning the second segment at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday.

Hoar was running third on a lap 36 restart when segment one winner and leader at the time Eddie MacDonald had ignition troubles and had to retire from the event. Hoar led the race the rest of the way. Hoar held off Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, who finished second.

Hoar’s run from the 35th starting position to the win combined with his second place finish in the first segment was enough to earn him the overall win with a near perfect three-point total.
