LITCHFIELD — The Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival picks up again this month.

The festival returns Aug. 25-28, with early-bird camping beginning 8 a.m. Monday.

Weekend tickets cover four days of music and camping. The festival ends 1:30 p.m. Aug. 28. The Litchfield Fairgrounds Committee will serve hot meals in the café, and other vendors will be located on the grounds.

Performers include The Grascals, of Tennessee; The Bluegrass Brothers and The James King Band, of Virginia; The Gibson Brothers, of New York; The Moron Brothers, of Kentucky; Bluegrass Diamonds and The Douthwrights, of New Brunswick; Remington Ryde, of Pennsylvania; and the Pine Hill Ramblers, of Massachusetts.

The festival is held at Litchfield Fairgrounds, 30 Plains Road, and organized by Greg and Sandy Cormier.

This is the second festival this year. In mid June, the 36th annual Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festival was held at the same venue. More information on this month’s show is available on the Web at www.blisteredfingers.com/.
