OXFORD –Jeff Taylor of Farmington scored his second career American Canadian Tour Late Model win at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday.

Taylor was running second behind Jeff White, who won the last ACT event at OPS, when White ran out of gas with eight laps remaining.

White, the current Late Model point leader at Oxford Plains, and Taylor had broken away from the field following the last restart of the event on lap 93. White clearly had the car to beat as Taylor stuck with him but didn’t have enough to make the pass until White’s ride started sputtering after completing lap 142.

Taylor led the final eight laps uncontested and was followed to the line by Austin Theriault and current ACT point leader Brian Hoar. Two-time TD Bank 250 winner Eddie MacDonald and Glen Luce completed the top five. TJ Brackett, Wayne Helliwell, Jr., Dave Farrington, Jr., Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., and Randy Potter filled out the top ten.
