WILTON — Jim and Danita Gilbert of Wilton are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sara Gilbert to Jack Thomas, son of Scott and Sharon Thomas of Richmond and Marlene Duff of Landisburg, PA.

Miss Gilbert is a 2005 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and is a student at the University of Maine at Farmington, studying elementary education.

Mr. Thomas is a 2001 graduate of Richmond High School and is a Petty Officer Third Class in the United States Navy.

The wedding will be held on July 14, 2012, in Rumford.
