OAKLAND — Haley Holt scored a pair of goals as Skowhegan defeated Messalonskee, 4-2, Monday afternoon in a battle between the two top field hockey teams in Eastern A.
Makaela Michonski and Jessie Skillings also scored for Skowhegan (14-0), which secured the No. 1 seed in the upcoming playoffs.
Emily York and Kristy Bernatchez had the goals for Messalonskee (11-2-1).
