Inclement weather Friday could alter the high school football slate.
It already has for Messalonskee and Mt. Ararat, who postponed their game from Friday to Saturday night at 7 in Topsham.
The forecast is calling for rain Friday.
Here is a look at where some of the action stands Thursday night:

“Our field doesn’t do well anyway holding water,” he said. “It’s not going to matter if it’s Friday or Saturday.”
Vachon and Cony athletic director Paul Vachon will meet at 11 a.m. Friday to determine if a postponement is necessary.

Skowhegan at Edward Little: Skowhegan coach Mike Marston said he anticipates playing Friday night.
“We actually like playing in the rain,” he said. “Hopefully we’ll play.”

PTC B

Madison at Gardiner: Gardiner coach Matt Burgess said he anticipates playing, although a final decision will be made Friday morning.
“We are preparing like we are playing,” he said.
