* Hail the Lowly Trombone: Colby Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Lorimer Chapel.

* “Colby on Stage” will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and Saturday, Oct. 29, at Strider Theater, Runnals Building.

This high-energy variety show by student performers features song, dance and drumming from Broadway Musical Revue, Colby Dancers, Hypnotik Dance Team, Powder and Wig

* The Get Up Downtown: Taste the Harvest event will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Barrels Community Market, 74 Main St.

Local farmers will showcase the bounty of their harvest at the event.

* Nosferatu, Les Sorciers Perdus will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Given Auditorium, Bixler Art and Music Center.

Les Sorciers Perdus is a modern chamber ensemble dedicated to the organic synergy of world folk traditions and Western classical music.

* The Halloween Extravaganza is planned from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in residence halls on Roberts Row, East and West Quads, Averill, and AMS.

Buses will pick up students at the South End Teen Center in Waterville and drop them off at the Roberts parking lot. Check-in at the Roberts Building.

* “The Supreme Court and Civil Rights: The Promise Unfulfilled?” will be presented at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, in Room 122, Diamond Building.
