The conference title was the first for the Bulldogs in 12 years.

Crocker, who did not start the game, scored in the first half after taking a through pass from Zach Plummer and flicking the ball past goalie Chris Hainey. In the second half, Crocker took a through pass from his older brother Ben and beat Hainey 1-on-1.

“We played a near-perfect soccer game,” said Hall-Dale coach Andy Haskell, whose team’s only loss of the regular season was 1-0 to St. Dom’s. “We defended very well and possessed the ball very well. It was a great team effort.”

Hall-Dale keeper Sam Shepherd and Hainey each made six saves. Hall-Dale (13-1-1) will host Dirigo in the quarterfinal round of the Western Class C tournament Wednesday.
