WINTHROP — Shauna Carlson, Lauren Kaiser and Mary Claire Blanchard all scored goals as the Winthrop field hockey team beat Central 3-0 in an Eastern Maine Class C semifinal game Saturday.
The No. 2 Ramblers improve to 12-2-2 and advances to play the winner of this afternoon’s Mattanawwcook vs. Dexter in the regional final on Tuesday. No. 3 Central ends the season at 9-7-0.
Carlson, Kaiser and Blanchard all scored in the second half.
