AUGUSTA — Several motor vehicles were reportedly burglarized in the Winthrop Street area.             A total of nine motor vehicle burglaries were reported to Augusta police between 7:32 a.m. and 1:16 p.m. Friday.                                                                                                                                           Two vehicle burglaries each were reported on Winter and North Chestnut streets, while single burglaries were reported on Spring, South Chestnut, Howard, Court and Patterson streets, according to police reports.

AUGUSTA
THURSDAY
At 12:51 p.m.., shoplifting was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.
1:01 p.m., theft was reported at K-Mart on Western Avenue.
1:16 p.m., harassment was reported on Mount Vernon Avenue.
2:43 p.m., criminal trespassing was reported on Old Winthrop Road.
4:08 p.m., Danielle M. Gallagher, 27, of Wales, was arrested at Shaw’s supermarket on Western Avenue, and charged with theft, and on a warrant.
4:18 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Sears on Whitten Road.
5:32 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Winter Street.
9:11 p.m., a past burglary was reported on Bolton Hill Road.
9:30 p.m., burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at Regal Cinema on Marketplace Drive.

FRIDAY
At 11:23 a.m., disorderly conduct was reported at the bus turnaround on Water Street.
11:48 a.m., shoplifting was reported at Kohl’s on Stephen King Drive.
1:06 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.
1:18 p.m., theft was reported at J&S Oil on Mount Vernon Avenue.
1:19 p.m., simple assault was reported at Riverside Place, on Riverside Drive.
1:42 p.m., theft was reported on Cony Street.

CHELSEA
THURSDAY
At 5:13 p.m., a past burglary was reported on Hankerson Road.

GARDINER
THURSDAY
At 10:05 a.m., a theft was reported by a caller at Gardiner Savings Bank of Maine on Water Street.

MONMOUTH
THURSDAY
At 12:40 p.m., criminal mischief was reported on Beach Road.

RANDOLPH
THURSDAY
At 2:14 p.m., a past burglary was reported on Closson Street.

WINDSOR
FRIDAY
At 7:41 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Stewart Lane.
