The Sustain Mid Maine Coalition was recently awarded the Hastings Award from Efficiency Maine during their recent awards dinner. The coalition received the award for its work to further Maine’s goals of energy efficiency and environmental enhancement.

In a partnership with Efficiency Maine, the city of Waterville, and the town of Winslow, and the coalition’s Energy Team implemented an energy-savings project that is projected to save 32 property owners in Winslow and Waterville $169,000 in energy savings this heating season.

Waterville and Winslow property owners interested in the energy savings program can call John Reuthe at 680-4208.
