PORTLAND — Time Warner Cable will continue its transition to an all-digital format today in Waterville, Winslow and Oakland, the company announced Monday.

The cable company urged customers to pick up digital adapters so they don’t miss any programming and to gain up to 19 additional channels.

The transition to an all-digital transmission format means customers who receive Time Warner Cable’s Augusta channel lineup will need to have a digital television, digital set-top box or palm-sized digital adapter from Time Warner Cable.

Residential customers can get as many digital adapters as they need at no cost through December 2013.

Adapters are available at the company’s offices, including one in Winslow, or by calling 1-855-892-3444 or at www.timewarnercable.com/GoDigital.
