I’m supporting Karen Heck for mayor of Waterville.

This might be surprising to many voters as Karen and I are at opposite ends of the political spectrum. However, after discussing Karen’s motives it became clear to me, that leaving politics behind, she would be the better cheerleader for Waterville. She will work hard to achieve her vision of making Waterville the best city in Maine by empowering the younger generation and I believe she has the experience and energy to do it.

I have known Karen for many years through Rotary. When she was president we raised more money than in previous years and we ended the year with a surplus. She is a hard worker and a creative thinker. She will provide a new approach for Waterville and I believe it’s time we had one.
