It is good news for Augusta that we have quality people willing to step forward and run for local office.

Corey Vose is an outstanding candidate to fill the Augusta City Council’s at-large seat currently held by Councilor Ed Coffin.

A bright guy with a young family, Vose contributes many hours to local organizations and activities. Former Mayor Roger Katz recognized his leadership abilities when he appointed Vose to the Augusta Planning Board.

He is knowledgeable about the issues through his many community activities and his door-to-door campaign. Vose will bring a fresh perspective and balance to the council and will be ready from day one to contribute.

I believe him when he says he wants to make Augusta a better place to live, work and play for all of us.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8. Join me in supporting Corey Vose for City Council.

Mark S. O’Brien

Augusta City Councilor, Ward 4
