Our federal government fails us today because our politicians don’t respect and work well with members of the opposing party. Suspicion of outsiders may have kept our ancestors alive when we were living in small tribes in the wilderness, but it creates gridlock in our governments today.
Karen Heck understands this and can really respect and work with people of all political persuasions. It may help that she is an Independent. Karen recognizes that people of each political party and each generation all see different and important truths, and she will seek out as many aspects of the truth as possible in making decisions as mayor.
