Emergency workers are responding to a pair of hunting-related injuries this afternoon, according to public safety officials.

A hunter in Raymond was shot in the stomach on Thomas Pond Shore Road at 3 p.m. and was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center, authorities said. Emergency workers also responded to an accidental gunshot wound in Oxford.

The accidental shootings are being investigated by the Maine Warden Service. No further details were immediately available.
