SOMERSET COUNTY — The 36th annual Great American Smokeout, sponsored by The American Cancer Society, is set for Nov. 17.
Somerset County agencies provide a variety of services to support people who are committed to quitting smoking.
The Healthy Maine Partnership offers the Quit and Win program which offers cash prizes for completing action goals. Until Dec. 1, people who want to quit using tobacco products register at Somerset Heart Health and will receive a starter kit in the mail. Materials and resources will be provided.
