SKOWHEGAN — Michelle L. Gilbert and Arvid L. Robbins were married Oct. 8, 2011, at their home in Skowhegan.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald Gilbert of Canaan, and Sharon Googins of Citrus Springs, Fla.

The bridegroom is the son of Joy and Alanson Robbins of Monson.

Megan L. Cohen of Portland, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor.

Kevin E. Robbins of Capital Heights, Md., son of the groom, was best man.

A reception was held at Heritage House in Skowhegan.

Many loved ones and very special friends were in attendance.

A honeymoon is planned for next year. The couple live in Skowhegan.
