AUGUSTA — The windows of several vehicles were smashed out overnight in the Green Street area.
Police said it does not appear whoever broke the windows took items from the vehicles.
Sgt. Christopher Shaw said it was not clear what the windows were broken with, and no victims, so far, have witnessed the incidents. Shaw encouraged anyone who may have information on the incidents to call Augusta police.
In addition to four reports of broken windows of vehicles on Green Street, similar incidents of criminal mischief were reported on Glenwood and North Chestnut streets.
