FAIRFIELD — Robert Sezak won a seat on the Town Council, while incumbents Sherry Tompkins and Shelley Rudnicki each won a seat on the School Administrative District 49 board of directors, according to Tuesday’s election results. 

Sezak had 844 votes, defeating incumbent Andrew York, who had 731. Sezak is owner of Re-Books, a shop in Waterville that sells used, rare and out-of-print books. The Town Council term is for three years.

In the school board race, Tompkins garnered 860 votes and Rudnicki had 816 to win re-election over challenger Andrew Carlton, who had 747 votes.

Towns in the district are Albion, Benton, Clinton and Fairfield.
