WATERVILLE — Hardy Girls Health Women’s Adventure Girls is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Woodsmen Field, Washington Street, Colby College. It will feature Julia Knoeff and the girls from the Colby Women’s Woodsmen team.
Girls in second through sixth grade who attend can learn the differences between a bow saw and a cross-cut saw, among other fast-paced forestry skills. There will also be demonstrations in speed fire building, wood chopping and axe throwing. Water and light snacks will be provided.
