A Winslow father and son were injured in an ATV accident in Farmington today.

The Maine Warden Service said Brian Dunton, 36, and his son, 9, were riding on the Whistle Stop Trail when their machine hit a tree. Speed was a factor in the crash, the warden service said.

The inuries were not life-threatening. Both Dunton and his son were wearing helmets, according to the warden service. The two were taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital.
