A bomb threat occurred recently at the University of Maine in Presque Isle. I have a child at this campus, as do many other parents in the area.

When I turned on the news (WABI out of Bangor), I hoped to get at least a mention of the incident and some assurances that everything was fine, but nothing was said about it.

The next day, I saw news about someone putting out cheap plastic reindeer and read about a pancake breakfast, but again there was no mention of this incident. Why the the lack of news?
