Waterville hunter found dead in Shirley
AUGUSTA — The Maine Warden Service says a hunter’s body has been found in the town of Shirley.
Officials say 54-year-old Dean Poulin of Waterville was hunting near Routes 6-15 on Saturday when he was separated from the rest of his hunting party.
When he failed to return at the end of the day, members of his party searched for him. Poulin’s body was located in a clear-cut in the area where he had been hunting. Officials say his death is believed to be the result of a medical incident. The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office will examine the body to confirm the cause of death.
