FAIRFIELD — The town has vacancies on several boards and committees for 2012.
The Budget Committee has openings for four committee members and the Planning Board and the Board of Assessment Review each has openings for one board member and two alternates.
The Land Use Board of Appeals and the Economic & Community Development Advisory Committee each has vacancies for two members and the Board of Appeals for Voter Registration has an opening for one member.
Interested Fairfield residents may contact Town Clerk Tracey L. Stevens by Dec. 30; standard forms may be filled out at the Town Office.
Town Manager Josh Reny said the council will make appointments at its Jan. 3 meeting.
