WINSLOW — Wilfred Sr. and Jean Morey of Winslow celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 30, 2011 at Ruby Tuesday in Augusta with their family.
Wilfred and the former Jean Cuthbertson were married October 27, 1951 at St. Bernard’s Church in Rockland by Rev. George Goudreau. Mr. Morey retired from Bridge Construction. Mrs. Morey retired from the Osteopathic Hospital.
The couple have six children: Wilfred Jr. and Toni Morey of Casper Wyoming, Robert and Sonny Morey of Lisbon, Wayne Sr. and Jane Hann Morey of Augusta, Karen and Keith Emerson of Augusta, Scott Sr. and Norma Morey of Waterville, and Marcia and Joe Rogers of Waterville.
The couple have 15 grandchildren: Norman, Kimberley, Joey, Jesse, Wayne Jr., Stephen, Randy, Rayno, Scott Jr., Patrick, Terry, Shawn, Rachel, Rhonda and Johnna.
The couple have 20 great-grandchildren.
