WINSLOW — Dick and Marie (Ricker) Chaput, longtime residents of Winslow, Maine and Merrimac, Mass., recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner held in their honor at the Kingston 1686 House. Family and friends attended from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.

They were married on Sept. 9, 1961, in Haverhill, Mass.

Dick was a salesman for the Fuller Brush Company for many years in Merrimac, Mass., before starting Modern Age Beverage Service in Winslow, where Marie worked alongside him as office manager. They relocated to Merrimac, Mass. 20 years ago to work with their daughter Cheryl and her husband.

Dick and Marie recently moved to Kingston, N.H. and were feted by their children: daughter Donna (Chaput) Meuse and her husband Vincent, of Kingston, N.H.; daughter Barbara (Chaput) Boucher and her husband Arnold, of Merrimac, Mass.; son Richard Chaput and his wife Dianna, of Lyman, and son Victor Chaput and his wife Laura, of Ferrisburgh, Vt. They are also the proud grandparents of six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

They were predeceased by their daughter Cheryl (Chaput) Eastman, and were given a loving tribute by their son-in-law, Rick Eastman, in appreciation of their unfailing love and support.

Congratulations, Dick and Marie!
