JACKMAN — Evan Worster scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Forest Hills to a 55-44 win over Vinalhaven in an East-West Conference boys basketball game Saturday.

Freshmen Brandon Ouellette and Matt Turner scored 16 and Turner 15, respectively, and combined for 19 points inthe first half.

Dillon Ames led Vinalhaven with 15 points while Scott James scored 11. Both teams are 1-1.

Greenville 48, Rangeley 40: Greenville scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to earn the East-West Conference in win Rangeley.

Matt DeAngelo had 13 points and Tristan Richards 10 for Greenville (1-0).

A.J. Elms and Alex Morton both scored 13 for Rangeley (0-1). Morton added nine rebounds.

Girls basektball

Forest Hills 49, Vinalhaven 46: Anna Carrier scored 12 points to lead the Tigers to the East/West Conference win in Jackman. Keely Taylor, Haley Cuddy, Dana McNally and Jocelyn Hoyt each scored seven points for the winners. Vinalhaven’s Izza Drury scored a game-high 16 points while Eliza Davidson scored 11. Both teams are 1-1.

Rangeley 59, Greenville 34: Taylor Esty scored 22 points as the Lakers cruised to a win in Rangeley.

Seve Deery-DeRaps and Chantal Carrier each added nine points for Rangeley (1-0).

Miranda Drinkwater scored 10 points and Michaella Gilbert 10 for Greenville 0-1.

Winslow 2, York 2: Sarah Fowler scored a pair of goals as the Black Raiders tied the Wildcats.

Caroline Hird and Nicci Heroux scored for York.

Jennifer Poulin had an assist and Jessica Cain had 44 saves for Winslow (1-3-1).
