SKOWHEGAN — Santa and Mrs. Claus will be appearing again this year at George’s Banana Stand on North Avenue for a food drive. They will arrive by fire truck on Thursday and collect food donations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Fire Department will be joined by members of Redington-Fairview General Hospital EMS, which has completed its annual toy drive.
All collections and donations will go directly to the Skowhegan Community Food Cupboard. There is also a monetary donation boot at Serenity Shears on Cleveland Street. Donations also will be accepted today and Thursday at the fire station.
