BELGRADE — Alan and Shari Cooper celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, December 17th, 2011, at a celebration dinner with family at Wings Hill Inn, Belgrade Lakes.
Mr. Alan Dale Cooper and the former Sharon Lee Blair were married December 16, 1961, in Athens, Ga. at the Athens Presbyterian Church.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Cooper were employed by Westing-house.
They have three children, Crista Cooper Lavenson, David Cooper and Greg Cooper, and four grandchildren, Nathan, age 11, Levon age 10, Hanna, age 9, and Emma, age 6.
The couple were surprised by Shari’s sister, Faith Ann Blair, from Virginia and son, David and grandson, Nathan Cooper from Florida.
